The most important responsibility of a Director of Food and Beverage is continuous quality control on guest experience. A Director of F&B oversees all F&B outlets in the hotel and is the ultimate responsible with regards to all food and drinks related outlets. The delegation of responsibility is one of the key activities of this function, steering the F&B outlet managers and sub-departments are part of that. Revenue goals and expenses are set by the F&B Director, which also includes business volume forecast, review of financial results and monitoring of market conditions. As Director of F&B you report mostly directly to the General Manager (GM).
