A Bar Manager controls the full operation of the bar and the beverages served. When an establishment boasts several bars or locations, the bar manager is likely to be in charge of all of these. The bar manager ensures purchasing of goods required, drinks menu development and leads and trains the bar personnel. He or she works closely together with the restaurant manager. Based on reservations and events the bar manager creates the planning of the staff and controls bar expenses. The bar manager is in contact with external parties with regards to delivery of supporting goods and services.
