A Chef de Cuisine is the Cxecutive Chef, Head Chef or Main Chef in a kitchen. He or she is in charge of all other chefs and cooks and final responsible for the full kitchen operation. Tasks include menu creation, menu-engineering and calculations, management of kitchen staff, ordering and purchasing of inventory and design. Chef the Cuisine can be a position in which you are responsible for multiple restaurants within the same hotel or in charge of various restaurant operations across the country of world. There is only one Chef de Cuisine job per hotel, resort, restaurant, external venue and event location.
